Hoy se cumplen 40 años del lanzamiento de Sgt. Pepper. Todos hemos tocado alguna vez en la banda de corazones solitarios del Sargento Pimienta.
Es quizas el disco que más me gusta de los Beatles, abrio cantidad de posibilidades dentro de la música y de las tecnicas de grabación, pero no quiero extenderme con eso, hay cantidad de paginas dedicadas a ello.
Quiero recordar que unos meses antes los Beach Boys habian lanzado el Pet Sounds y que fue tal el impacto que provoco aquel disco en los “fab four” que decidieron agudizar el ingenio para grabar un disco a esa altura.
En Brasil cuando escucharon el Pet Sounds y el Sgt. Pepper, se inventaron el tropicalismo, pero eso es otra historia.
Mi canción favorita del disco y una de mis favoritas de los Beatles es “A day in the life”

Vaya, veo que además de lo de las Vainicas coincidimos en otras cosas, (a destacar lo de Tintín).
Tenía cinco añitos así que no me enteré demasiado, luego vino un primo mio, porque todos tenemos un primo, y me lo descubrió, claro que para entonces andaría yo por los doce, y ahí me enganché. Estoy hablando del disco.
a mí Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds me trae buenos recuerdos, pero ahora me quedaría con When I'm Sixty Four.
